Hibou Conservation Area
Named for the freighter which sank off this shore in 1936, Hibou Conservation Area has 2.5 km of shoreline and includes two natural sand beaches on Paynter's Bay. Enjoy the picnic pavilions, picnic tables throughout the site, the playground and 2.5 kms of trails with boardwalks and interpretive signs across the road from the beach. Open year round. Parking fee applies mid June through Labour Day.
