French River Inner Range Lights
The French River Front Range light is a circular, white 15-foot-tall tower marked with an orange vertical stripe and stands on narrow Lefroy Island in the mouth of the river. On the mainland about ¾ mile upriver is the French River Rear Range light, a small, white tower only 15 feet tall, with a red stripe running down its front and topped with a small red cap. Behind it, a thick stand of trees blends into grasses and bushes that stretch down to the rocky shoreline.
