Little Current
Situated on the north shore of Manitoulin Island, Little Current is considered the gateway to the World’s Largest Freshwater Island. The swing bridge, the town’s most famous landmark, has marked the entrance to the Island since 1913.
Admire the view of the nearby Strawberry Island Lighthouse. During the summer months, watch the parade of boats navigate their way through the narrowest portion of the North Channel, a world renowned sailing destination famous for its majestic bays and inlets.
Hike the Cup and Saucer trail, one of the most popular trails in Ontario, for a fantastic view atop the limestone bluffs - 2 kms of dramatic 70 meter. Later, relax and enjoy strolling along the docks, shopping and dining along the shores of the North Channel.
